Many small companies might be held back because of poor web address choices.
That's according to a new study which claims that one in five people who regularly use small business websites struggle with domain names that are complex or difficult to remember.
It's claimed that with 70 per cent of Britons now keen to conduct business with small and medium sized businesses via the web, the importance of having a memorable domain name has never been more important.
The study also suggests that if easy to remember .co.uk or .com domain names are out of reach, small businesses should pick a customer friendly .biz, .net or .eu address rather then opting for a more complicated .co.uk address.
